Wellness: Community engagement opportunities near

UNMC Chancellor Jeffrey P. Gold, M.D., is the honorary chair for the Heart Walk, one of the community engagement opportunities available this spring and summer.

UNMC and Nebraska Medicine provide charitable support to help further the missions of many nonprofit organizations.

These organizations enrich the community, making it a vibrant and attractive place to live and work. This encompasses organizations serving the Douglas, Sarpy, Cass and Pottawattamie counties and Grand Island. Many support lifesaving research or help patients get the support and services they need when they are not on the med center campus.

Click on the event below and look for the “Nebraska Medicine/UNMC” or “Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center” team names to participate in an already established corporately endorsed event.
