A UNMC group is holding a candy-gram fundraiser this week.
EMPOWER, a student-led, inter-professional initiative, will sell the candy-grams from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. today and Thursday in the Sorrell Center commons area. (The Valentines also can be purchased online through Friday.)
For $2, EMPOWER will provide a personalized Valentine’s Day card cutout and full size candy bar. Buyers or their Valentines must be able to pick up the Valentine on Feb. 14 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Sorrell commons area.
All proceeds go to support EMPOWER’s mission of increasing awareness and providing opportunities for future health care professionals to become involved in efforts to minimize domestic and sexual violence in our community and beyond.
