Can you better identify the buildings and surrounding streets. that picture doesn't give any sense for where this is. Reading the article doesn't really paint a good picture either. if you could please re-post a better labeled picture and N, S,E,W along with labeled buildings and surrounding streets so we can determine where exactly this will take place, I think a lot of people would really appreciate it!
If I understand this correctly the access to the 2nd floor entrance door of LOC will not be accessible from 2/13 to 2/24, is that correct? If it is walking down the steep side walk on the east side of 41st street with no access sidewalk to the parking garage and the elevator is dangerous and less than an ideal solution. If the door and sidewalk to the door remain open forget I replied.
Also note that 40th street cannot be used to access Emile due to elimination of the road under the pedestrian overpass being built. One cannot walk under it, either.
I am wondering what is the best route then for physicians and nurses who have to walk from the Lauritzen Outpatient Center to the hospital. Can you please let me know so I relay that information. Thank you.
One route is to exit LOC, cross the street to inside the pharmacy building, to Sorrell, then take the skybridge over 42nd St.
