All UNMC faculty, staff, students and their families (or guests) are invited to a campus sock hop and skate party on Feb. 3 from 6 to 10 p.m.
The sock hop, complete with disc jockey, will be in the Center for Healthy Living gymnasium; skaters will take to the ice on the UNMC ice rink.
There is no cost to attend the sock hop or to skate (skate rentals also are free).
Door prizes will be given away during the event. Light snacks will be available while supplies last.
During the event, the Center for Healthy Living will have an open house to promote its new facility.
