Online staff performance evaluations in ADIS open Feb. 1

UNMC requires that management annually evaluate, in writing, the performance of each employee. All staff performance evaluations should be completed by June 15 for fiscal year 2016-2017.

Performance is judged on the basis of productivity, effectiveness, and overall value and contribution to the department and to the university. Employees may review UNMC Performance Evaluation Policy here.

Managers may complete online performance evaluations for staff employees in ADIS. The NU Values Online Performance Evaluation provides guidelines for administrators, employees and evaluators (supervisors).

In addition, this page provides a sample online performance evaluation, performance evaluations core values and annual performance appraisal guidelines.

The UNMC Department of Human Resources has teamed with ITS to enhance the online staff performance evaluations in ADIS. The enhancements include:

  • Incorporation of ITEACH values and mission statement.
  • Screen view and overall user experience.
  • Rating entry — rather than a sliding scale, the user may enter a rating from 0 to 5.
  • Performance evaluation administration — added employee hire date, title and appointment type.
  • Staff performance evaluations reports.

Employees whose performance evaluation was completed in ADIS last year may access their evaluation in ADIS by clicking “My Evaluations” tab and then clicking the evaluation PDF icon.

Managers and supervisors who completed employee evaluations last year in ADIS may access performance evaluations in ADIS by clicking “Personnel Records,” then clicking “Staff Evaluation Status” and selecting past evaluation fiscal year “2015.”

A forum to review performance evaluation guidelines and system updates is scheduled for 11 a.m. to noon Friday at the Maurer Center for Public Health. The forum is open to administrators, managers, supervisors and employees.
