On March 24, UNMC and Children’s Hospital & Medical Center are hosting the first Midwest Pediatric Specialty Symposium, focusing on pediatric eye, ear, nose and throat.
The symposium will include clinical updates, didactic lectures, and case-based clinic discussions relating to pediatric ophthalmology and otolaryngology.
This symposium is designed for pediatricians, family and advanced practice providers, nurse practitioners, residents and fellows to further their knowledge and confidence in diagnosis and treatment of patients with a myriad of eye, ear, nose and throat complaints.
Course directors Donny Suh, M.D., and Dwight Jones, M.D., have organized this day-long symposium, which includes 14 leaders in their fields, including guest lecturers David Hunter, M.D., from Boston Children’s Hospital, and Robert Weatherly, M.D., from Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Mo.
