What sparked your interest in your chosen career path?
I had always known that I wanted to pursue a career in the medical field growing up, but I wasn’t exactly positive on which route I was best suited. I started to shadow a wide array of disciplines from surgeons to physical therapists in the hopes something would spark my interest. It wasn’t until I was in a rural pharmacy, speaking with an older gentleman about how we could help him better manage his health and medications, that I realized I wanted to help individuals lead quality lives.

- My husband and I competitively wrestled each other in first grade. He still thinks he won . . .
- Contrary to popular belief, it is not impossible to lick your elbow — I’m one of the lucky few.
