The UNMC College of Dentistry will hold its own holiday music series in December.
The College of Dentistry’s series will feature three performances in December.
They are:
Dec. 6, 11:45 a.m.-12:15 p.m.
The series will kick off with the Lincoln North Star Performing Arts’ Chamber Strings, a nine-student ensemble that will perform under the direction of John Salistean.
Dec. 7, 1:30-2 p.m.
The series will continue with the Lincoln East Chamber Strings. The Chamber Strings are a 10-member string ensemble under the direction of Del Whitman.
Dec. 16, noon-1 p.m.
The inaugural series will conclude with the Lincoln Southwest High School Chamber Choir and the Orchestra Ensemble. The Chamber Choir, a 42-voice ensemble under the direction of Denise Cotton, will perform from noon-12:30 p.m. Following the choir, the Lincoln Southwest Orchestra Ensemble, under the direction of Jason Lenz, will perform from 12:30-1 p.m.
All performances will take place in the main foyer of the east entrance of the College of Dentistry building, located on the East Campus of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Come hear the sounds of the holidays!
