UNMC community invited to attend accreditation meetings

UNMC is preparing for reaccreditation by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC). As part of this process, visitors from the HLC come to campus and meet with various constituents of UNMC and ask questions regarding assorted topics.

For many of these meetings, the HLC would like students, staff, and faculty to attend. The following are the times, topics, and locations of meetings in which students are encouraged to participate:

Monday, Nov. 28, in the Sorrell Center, Room 2014:

  • 10-11 a.m. — Discussion of teaching quality — Students, faculty and staff welcome
  • 11 a.m.-noon — Open discussion of students representing various programs — Students welcome
  • 2-3 p.m. — Discussion of teaching evaluation — Students, faculty and staff welcome
  • 4-5 p.m. — Discussion of UNMC resources — Students, faculty and staff welcome

Tuesday, Nov. 29, in the Sorrell Center, Room 1005:

  • 8:15-9:15 a.m.: Discussion of UNMC mission and Integrity — Students, faculty and staff welcome
