The “Lifesaving Potentials of Cheek Swabbing and Bone Marrow Donation” will be the focus of the next Schwartz Center Rounds on Nov. 21.
The multidisciplinary forum enables clinical caregivers to discuss social and emotional issues that arise in caring for patients. All UNMC and Nebraska Medicine students and employees are invited to attend the forum, 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the University Tower Private Dining Room C.
Panelists include:
- Vijaya Bhatt, M.D., oncology/hematology
- Barbara Hurlbert, M.D., anesthesiology/liver transplant
- Sheree Gilmore, transplant case manager
- A bone marrow recipient
