The UNMC Alumni Association is hosting an organizational meeting on Nov. 16 for all retired UNMC alumni, faculty and staff.
Rowen Zetterman, M.D., UNMC class of 1969, will emcee the meeting, which runs from 2 to 4 p.m. at the UNMC Alumni House, 518 38th St. Parking is available at the Alumni House, with overflow parking in Lot 15S.
The program will feature social time, refreshments and the following presentations:
- “UNMC . . . Then and Now,” by Jennifer Bartholomew, executive director, UNMC Facilities
- “The New Era of Engagement: A Presentation on the UNMC Alumni Association,” by Alumni Director Roxanna Jokela
- “Our Retired Faculty, Staff and Alumni — Staying Connected,” by UNMC Chancellor Jeffrey P. Gold, M.D.; and
- “Where do we go from here?” a discussion to help identify group leaders and a group name, as well as meeting times and topics.

The first 40 individuals registered will receive the newest edition of the UNMC Walking Tour Guide Book with an overview of the campus.
