Lights. Camera. Action!
Bring your family for tonight’s Appreciation Week event from 5 – 8 p.m.
Enjoy a viewing of “Inside Out” in the Truhlsen Event Center at the Sorrell Center. The movie will start at sundown (approximately 6:30 p.m.). During the movie, enjoy free popcorn courtesy of Aksarben Cinema.
From 5-6:30 p.m., there will be fun activities for the kids, including face painting, lawn games, crafts, and a fire truck on display. Chicago Dawg House will have their food truck on site to sell dinner (cash or credit is accepted).
Remember, there are several other activities during the week that will offer free prizes. These include:
- Be the first to spot one of 12 hidden ITEACH icons in campus buildings and win a prize.
- Pick up a free UNMC car window decal (while supplies last) at any of the Appreciation Week events and display it on your car. Every day, a few lucky winners will find a “ticket” on their car and win a prize.
- Enjoy a month of free admission to the Center for Healthy Living as part of the grand opening of the new space (Oct. 10 – Nov. 10; existing memberships will be frozen during this time).
