How I fell in love with medicine:
My father is a practicing physician in Huron, S.D., and growing up, I watched him work tirelessly to take care of his patients and stay current on the newest developments in medicine. Seeing the advance of medicine from 1988 when he started to today when patients are surviving cancer much longer and engaging in preventive medicine is gratifying.
Degrees:
- B.S., University of Nebraska-Lincoln
- M.S., South Dakota State University
- M.D., American University of the Caribbean
- Residency, internal medicine, University of South Dakota Sanford School of Medicine
Three things people may not know about me:
- I’ve run two marathons and still enjoy playing ice hockey.
- I have yet to accomplish my goal of a four-hour marathon and hope to continue to train to accomplish this in the next few years.
- I also have 19-month-old twins, Sean and Isla, and I run around Lake Zorinsky with them in a running stroller multiple times a week to work toward this goal.
A wonderful Doctor, father, husband & person. So proud that he is my son in law.
I know his parents and Noah is a very nice looking man. I admire his accomplishments as well.
