The first drawing for UNMC United Way campaign participant prize winners was held Friday. The winners were:
- Alison Topp: A $25 Amazon gift card
- Pamela Carmines, Ph.D.: A $25 AMC gift card
- Brandy Clarke, Ph.D.: A $25 Blackstone Meatball gift card
- Diane Strnad: A $50 Target gift card
- Jared Robertson: A pair of Husker tickets to the Purdue vs. Nebraska game on Oct. 22
Another prize drawing featuring four more gift cards and another pair of Husker tickets will be held Friday for those donating a minimum of $20.
This Friday, Sept. 23, from 8:30 to 10 a.m., employees of UNMC who have donated a minimum of $5 to the United Way are invited to stop by the Alumni Commons in the Sorrell Center for free donuts and coffee while supplies last. Employees must show a printout or email receipt of their United Way pledge.
As of 3 p.m. Thursday, UNMC achieved:
- Donations of $107,452.56, 67 percent of the campaign goal of $160,000.
- Employee participation of 23 percent. Remember, using the UNMC eServ website to choose not to donate counts as participation.
