Volunteers needed for parking focus groups

A limited number of slots remain open for this month’s focus groups on parking.

The Transportation and Parking Committee recently announced plans for a series of focus groups to address current and future parking issues for the medical center campus in midtown Omaha.

UNMC and Nebraska Medicine faculty, staff and students may volunteer to participate in the one-hour sessions, to be led by Omaha consulting firm J. Walker & Associates, Inc.

Individuals who express interest are not automatically guaranteed a slot, as selections will be random and consist of a cross-section of faculty, staff and students from throughout campus. Participants selected will receive a confirmation email.

Feedback from the focus groups will be used to help the Transportation and Parking Committee make parking procedure and cost recommendations to campus leadership.
