Too many adults are incorrectly installing car seats and misusing seat belts. Recent statistics show that over half of all children in car seats are susceptible to injury or death because of improper installation.

Don’t be one of the statistics. Attend the next Olson Center brown bag lecture at noon on Sept. 20 in the Eppley Science Hall. Denise Lynes, with Nebraska Medicine NICU, will present car seat installation, usage, and appropriate seat transitions as well as proper adult restraint use based on Nebraska state law and national guidelines.

Seating is limited; please pre-register by calling the Olson Center at 559-6345. Bring your lunch. Simple refreshments will be provided.

The lectures are free. To obtain nursing credit, the cost is $10. Payment instructions will be given when you pre-register.
