Students in all UNMC colleges, residents, fellows and post-docs are invited to participate in a six-week creative writing workshop planned for this fall.
The course will be lead by UNMC’s Bud Shaw, M.D., professor of surgery and author of “Last Night in the OR: A Transplant Surgeon’s Odyssey,” and Jennifer Yalof, Psy.D., director of behavioral health wellness education.
Who: Looking for 15 participants. Open to students in all UNMC colleges, residents, fellows and post-docs.
What: A six-week creative writing workshop. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the art of creative writing as a means for expression, and hone their craft. The workshop will be comprised of writing, didactics and group discussion. Writers of all levels welcome.
When: Sept 7, 14, 21, 28, Oct. 5 and 12. Each workshop runs from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
