On Sept. 11, an upgrade to Version 2015 of the One Chart application will take place. Training for this upgrade has officially started.
The One Chart training team has collaborated with operational leaders from across the enterprise to develop a detailed and complete training plan.
Information regarding which classes, e-Learnings and written materials are pertinent to your end-user’s roles can be found on the Learning Home within One Chart and on the One Chart New Version Training Website. The following is now available:
- NEW VERSION TRAINING CLASSES: Scheduled classes for New Version Training will be offered on various dates. These classes provide targeted communication about the upcoming changes with a trainer present to answer any additional questions. Users can sign up for classes in Apollo.
- NEW VERSION TRAINING E-LEARNINGS: E-learnings are available through Apollo as a method to review some of the major changes in Version 2015 One Chart.
- NEW VERSION PRACTICE OPPORTUNITIES: If staff would like to practice with the upgrade items outside of a classroom setting, they can utilize the PLY environment to view the Version 2015 system.
- TRAINING DOCUMENTS: Upgrade slides and tip sheets which highlight major changes with the 2015 upgrade are available within One Chart through the Learning Homes and on the One Chart website.
Tracking training
Operational reviewers have worked closely with the One Chart training team to identify whether these classes are considered recommended or optional. The final determination of whether classroom training is required should be made within your area based on the knowledge of staff’s use of the system. It will be the responsibility of each area to track their staff’s completion of the required e-learnings and classroom training (if determined to be required). It also will be necessary for local leadership to assess staff that serve in dual roles and determine in which combination of education sessions they need to participate.
Pre-logon screens
To facilitate information communication for this and future upgrades, pre-logon screens will be implemented this week with quick access to the One Chart Resources webpage. When logging into Epic, the starry sky background will be replaced with the One Chart Resources webpage with the user ID and password located in the upper left corner of the screen.
