Talk about your job and what you like best about it:  

Developing relationships with house officers, program coordinators, and program directors is extremely gratifying.  They are all fantastic people to work with and always make teaching and education their first priority!

Your favorite memory of working at UNMC:

It’s not my favorite memory of UNMC, but definitely one of the most unforgettable.  It was the day when one of the general surgery residents put a dead mouse on my desk from one of the house officer call rooms. I think he was trying to make a point to call the exterminators! Needless to say, I did.

Hobbies:

• Gardening
• Officiating volleyball

• I have worked with more than 5,000 resident and fellow physicians in the last 40 years.
• I will be a first-time grandma in August!
• I have officiated the Class A state volleyball final three times in the last six years.
