Members of the med center community can honor a loved one diagnosed with cancer by purchasing a luminaria (paper lantern) supporting the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center’s Relay For Life team.
There are two types of luminarias available for purchase:
- Already decorated luminarias created by our pediatric patients; and
- A blank luminaria that you can take, decorate and return in honor or memory of someone you know with cancer.
The Relay for Life team will be selling the luminarias as well as T-shirts to support the Relay for Life fundraising efforts at the Clarkson Tower and Nebraska Cafe cafeterias from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the following dates:
- Today;
- Thursday, June 23;
- July 5; and
- July 7.
