The new online program will enable employees — via a recognition portal/website — to send Thank U messages and e-cards for any occasion, as well as more easily submit Silver U and Gold U nominations.
Service award gifts will be accessible via the online site, and colleagues will be able to see and congratulate those who are celebrating a service anniversary.
Employees also will be able to post messages, upload videos and share stories with the entire UNMC campus.
“The new program incorporates formal, informal and day-to-day recognition into one platform,” said Linda Cunningham, division director of Human Resources-Employee Relations, Organizational Development & Diversity. “We think it will help drive meaningful appreciation, rewards, and recognition that inspire authentic employee engagement.”
