Jan Stewart, office associate in the department of neurosurgery, will be retiring from UNMC after 10 years.
Her colleagues will mark the occasion with a reception from 2-3 p.m. on Monday, March 28 in the neurosurgery conference room, University Tower 4124.
“During Jan’s time as an office associate in the division of neurosurgery, I’ve had countless patients express to me their appreciation for her efforts on their behalf,” said Ken Follett, M.D., Ph.D., chair of neurosurgery. “Her words and deeds reflect that she’s always had our patients’ best interests at heart. As a key point of contact for patients, other providers, and the community, Nebraska Medicine and UNMC could not ask for a better representative.”
The university community is invited to the reception.
