What sparked your interest in pharmacy?
In high school at Seward High, I took every science class that was offered. Even at this point, I knew that I wanted to do something science-related. In addition, my enthusiasm for exercise and nutrition triggered my interest in a health care career. Initially, I didn’t think I would enjoy the bodily care of patients, but this has become a lot more interesting to me as my experiences continue to grow. I enjoy working with an interdisciplinary team to help them choose the best possible medication therapy for patients. On top of this, my brother is a chiropractor, and we have to have something to disagree on in our lives.

Three things people may not know about you:
- I jumped out of a plane for the first time this past summer, and the experience is literally breathtaking. I would highly recommend it to everyone (especially after a hard test).
- I like “new.” I travel to as many new places as possible, including Boston, Jamaica, and San Diego. I enjoy meeting new people on a daily basis, so feel free to introduce yourself. Lastly, I’m a student, which means I like learning information that will be used for the rest of my life.
- I enjoy country dancing. I commonly attend Rednecks on Wednesday nights and practice my two-step and line dances!
