Basic Science:
Hani Haider, Ph.D., received more than 15 industry, government and private grants/contracts from USA, Europe and Japan between 2013-2016, of which five are currently active. The Orthopaedics Biomechanics and Advanced Surgical Technologies Laboratory performs experimental simulation and testing of orthopaedic implants, and develops new international standard test methods. The lab also produced innovative 3D navigation and robotic surgical technology with one 2013 issued United States patent #8560047 (Haider and Barrera inventors) and multiple other applied patents pending.
