How I fell in love with regenerative medicine:
I was fascinated by the picture of an artificial human ear growing on the back of a mouse when I was at college. I thought it was a fantastic idea to fabricate engineered tissues and organs for transplantation and therapeutic use. Then I had strong interest in tissue engineering and regenerative medicine and hoped that I could help patients one day. Now is the time.
