We are all aware of the importance of living well — being physically active, eating well and managing stress. Yet as familiar as we are with those simple health principles, only 3 percent of Americans meet these four healthy lifestyle characteristics – being a nonsmoker, maintaining a healthy weight, eating four servings of fruits and vegetables per day and being regularly physically active.
This presentation will focus on physical activity and discuss effective (and easy) strategies for moving more and sitting less. Join us to learn how to maximize your motivation.
The lectures is free. Nursing credit can be obtained at a cost of $10, with payment instructions given when you pre-register.
The UNMC College of Nursing Continuing Nursing Education is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
This activity is provided for 1.0 contact hour under ANCC criteria.
