The new seminar series will feature research that uses UNMC core facility technologies. Speakers will include core scientists, principal investigators, instrument tech reps and occasionally outside researchers.
The purpose of the series is to highlight the variety of ways core technologies can be applied to research questions, with a special emphasis on technology new to UNMC.
The inaugural speaker will be Chantey Morris, Ph.D., a research technologist in the College of Pharmacy, who will present “What Can the Nanomaterials Characterization Core Do for You?”
The “Tech Talks” series will continue on the second Tuesday of every other month from 1 to 2 p.m. at the DRC, Room 1006.
