The third finalist for the position of director of the UNMC Munroe-Meyer Institute will visit campus this week.
Scott Kollins, Ph.D., will give a public presentation from 8 to 9:30 a.m. Friday in the Wittson Hall Auditorium, Room 3034.
Dr. Kollins is a professor in the department of psychiatry & behavioral science and vice chair for research strategy and development in psychiatry at Duke University School of Medicine. He holds a joint appointment with the department of psychology and neuroscience, and is the director of the Duke ADHD Program.
According to the Duke University website, Dr. Kollins’ clinical interests include “externalizing behavior problems of childhood, child psychopharmacology, pediatric and adult ADHD.”
The website lists his research interests as “ADHD, psychopharmacology, smoking/nicotine dependence, genetics, and neuropharmacology.”
