The holidays are here. What better way to celebrate than to attend the holiday events hosted by a few of UNMC’s community partners?
The Durham Museum and Joslyn Art Museum provide free museum admission for UNMC and Nebraska Medicine employees, students, and their immediate family with a valid identification badge. As always, there will be several holiday events geared to the entire family.
At The Durham, enjoy loads of entertainment including cookie decorating, holiday crafts, and, of course, the countdown to lighting the region’s largest indoor Christmas tree during the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony on Nov. 27.
Then, on Dec. 3, visit the Joslyn Art Museum for the Member’s Holiday Celebration from 5:30-8 p.m. where attendees will enjoy an evening of tours, art-making, food, and live music. RSVP by Nov. 30. (Reservations@joslyn.org)
In addition to these events, be sure to check out the holiday happenings at the Rose Theater, Lauritzen Gardens, and Fontenelle Forest.
