Research/Professional Interests:
As part of the new in-house overnight radiology staff, my primary interests for now lie in working with our residents, particularly in finding that delicate balance of allowing resident autonomy to develop critical decision-making skills while also providing the utmost quality of service for our referring clinicians in a timely manner.
How I fell in love with radiology:
Computers and related technology in general have always been a hobby of mine, perhaps even a habit. That was certainly one of the first things that drew me to radiology, the amazing technology involved and the pace at which it has advanced and continues to do so. Anatomy and pathology were also keen interests of mine while a medical student. The ability radiology provides to see into the human body for these entities is wonderful. Every CT scan, MRI, X-ray, and ultrasound is its own unique puzzle and challenge that I thoroughly enjoy.

Three things people may not know about me:
- I have an undergraduate degree in marketing and had an internship with a California dotcom startup during the 2000s.
- As a medical student, I participated in wilderness medical training in Belize, Central America. Spelunking and sleeping in the jungle were quite an experience. Luckily, I was not in the cohort group when they were attacked by killer bees.
- My favorite sports are snow skiing and wake surfing.
