What sparked your interest in dentistry?
There was never an “ah-ha” moment when I decided to pursue dentistry, but rather it was an accumulation of experiences. Volunteer work, working at the family restaurant, job-shadowing, traveling, college courses and extracurricular activities all helped me learn more about myself and what I want to accomplish. Working at the family restaurant was a major factor in this decision. It allowed me to realize how much I enjoy interacting with others, and helping when I can. This is a great field, with endless opportunities to provide care to those in need.
