Care of pediatric orthopaedic conditions, with a focus on lower extremity conditions, including the foot, knee and hip.
What I love about orthopaedics:
I enjoy taking care of children with orthopaedic conditions and helping to improve their quality of life. Many orthopaedic conditions are improved significantly with the interventions we do, both surgical and non-surgical. I enjoy being able to use my hands to fix broken bones and correct acquired and congenital deformities.
Degrees:
- Medical degree: University of Nebraska Medical Center (2004-2008)
- Orthopaedic residency: Saint Louis University, orthopaedic surgery, St. Louis (2008-2014)
- Pediatric orthopaedics fellowship: DuPont Hospital for Children, Wilmington, Del. (2014-2015)
Memberships:
- American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons
Three things you don’t know about me:
- I have run a full marathon.
- I played basketball in high school.
- I played the flute growing up.
Glad to have you back Maegen!
