The EVS worker who generates the most comments — or “votes” — gets a $50 gift card to Hy-Vee.

- For more than one EVS worker; but
- Only once for each EVS worker.
Both UNMC and Nebraska Medicine EVS workers are eligible.

EVS workers are a critical part of the team that creates the amazing environment that helps showcase the extraordinary education, science, and patient care across this University. Our College is fortunate to have Olga Echevarria, Lavinia Retana, and Aderana Morris as part of the public health family – because that is how they maintain the facilities as their own and treat everybody who walks through the door.
Linda Walter provides not only excellent care to our laboratory at the LTC, but also is friendly and always makes her rounds a pleasant part of our day.

Always has a greeting for each person and keeps the College of Nursing clean and welcoming! He's a valued member of our team at the CON!!
Linda Osborne does more to keep our area clean and healthy than is expected. She even sanitizes the refrigerator door handle and the microwave door, in addition to keeping our offices, labs, and facilities tidy. She is friendly, hard working, and reliable. She is at work regularly every day. We appreciate her dedication.
YuYong Pak-Vlasak does a fabulous job and she is always very friendly. I wish I could vote twice for her!
Martha Carter is a hard worker and a caring employee. She goes "above and beyond" to make the College of Nursing a welcoming environment for us all. And, she does so without complaint. She and her efforts are so appreciated!!

Every morning Terri Gustafson in ECI greets me with a warm smile and always asks how I am doing. It is a wonderful way to start the day! She is a hard, dedicated worker who does her job with pride. What I enjoy most is how truly genuine and down to earth she is. Her great sense of humor always brings smiles to the room. She relates well with everyone and goes above and beyond by remembering things that are important to others. Please acknowledge Terri by letting her know how much she is appreciated here EVERY DAY!
Sherri Lindsey makes LTC 8th Floor shine. She keeps everything tidy, stocked, and never complains when we have to purge files and have barrel after barrel of paper for recycling. She just makes sure to keep swapping out the bins for empty ones. She makes sure that we have everything we need and then some. Couldn't ask for anyone better.
Tami Howells brings a ray of sunshine to Michael Sorrell every day. She is not only amazing at her job but she is a caring friend to everyone. She puts 110% into her job every day. She is an absolute joy to be around and a blessing to UNMC.
