- For more than one EVS worker; but
- Only once for each EVS worker.
Both UNMC and Nebraska Medicine EVS workers are eligible.

I am not surprised to see Zonia's smiling face on this page, she does an amazing job for 4230 building. I vote for Zonia!
Terri Gustafson who cleans for us in the Eppley Cancer Institute does a great job, is friendly and goes out of her way to help us out.
Josephine Paul, Josephine is from Somalia and speaks 3 languages. Josephine has been working ten hour days, clean in two different buildings. She does a great job cleaning every day and ALWAYS has a smile even when her daughter was sick and when she is in pain with her foot that she is having surgery on today. Good Luck Josephine!

I wanted to say that I have worked at UNMC since 2007 and we have had some Wonderful EVS workers! Currently, we are fortunate to have Mark over in Eppley Science Hall. He brightens all of our days by being pleasant, accommodating and leaving us little notes that make us smile. Thanks Mark for all your hard work and dedication at UNMC!
Tami Howell in Sorrell goes above and beyond in all that she does here. One of the hardest working EVS staff I've ever known and she genuinely cares about our building and occupants.

Sherri Lindsey is wonderful. She always has sweet things to say and she always does her best to take care of all my little needs. Cathy Christiansen works in Wittson Hall. She is one of the hardest working people I've ever met and also one of the greatest human beings I've come into contact with. Her great attitude can bring a smile to anyone's face. Wittson Hall, and specifically the library, looks great because of her. The EVS staff here is so wonderful and it's hard to highlight just one. This is a great thing to see in UNMC Today.

Tami Howell is a true *gem* – sparkling personality – and she really, really cares about all of the employees in the Sorrell Center! She is prompt, professional and very efficient. We are blessed to have Tami in our building and I have known a lot of EVS personnel over the many years I've been here and she is definitely one of the best, if not the BEST !!
Tami Howells is quick to help us out whenever we need her. She always has a smile and is cheery everyday. She does a wonderful job keeping our space clean and tidy and goes above and beyond.
My vote is for Lavinia Retena, Lavinia continually goes above and beyond with a happy smile and always without complaint. She greats everyone by name and is always helpful and responsive. She is amazing and we love her in the MCPH Building!
Mary Walls does a fantastic job taking care of our area and our needs and requests in the Emergency Medicine Administration Area. She is always upbeat, cheery and very personable.
Zonia is AMAZING! When she come around at the 4230 Building every morning, she is so happy and positive and always asks "How are you doing, she is so caring. She is an asset to UNMC! She keeps the 4230 Building so clean, the Windows Sparkle! CONGRATS Zonia!

Carmen Escolero in Wittson Hall is the BEST! Not only does he do an amazing job making our floor look great, but he truly cares about each of us. There is not a day goes by that he does not ask how we are doing, how our families are, etc. He also greets the students each day and ensures that everything is in order for them. THANK YOU Carmen for everything you do, and being a wonderful person to interact with!
Debra Duke at MMI always brings a smile to your face. She goes out of her way to make sure she knows every employees name and says "Hi" and asks how everything is going, everyday. We are very lucky to have her here at the Human Genetics Lab!

Leah Bailey (MMI) is not responsible for my department but that doesn't stop her from saying hello and sharing smiles and laughs when our paths cross. My day is always better when I've seen her!
Joyce Okelo (SSP 2nd & 3rd floor) gets my vote… she is helpful, pleasant, and often does a little "extra" touches that really help!
Louie Liddick on 3rd floor DRC2 is awesome. He's always cheerful, greets us by name, knows us all, cares about us, and above all that, he does a SUPER job. Our floor looks the best in this building! Some days, I'm lucky enough to hear his beautifully singing as he cleans the bathrooms. Louie cares about his work and makes sure our areas are sparkling. He's the best, hands down.
In the wee hours while I snooze my alarm MMI's Connie Mills is busy doing her thing – and doing it well! She handles any requests quickly and accurately ensuring my office is ready for each new day. Thank you, Connie. You are appreciated!

I vote for Mary Walls. She is a very productive worker and is such a cheerful and caring person in the Emergency Medicine Department. She is nice to all of us in the department and says hi to everyone she meets in the department. You can come into work being grumpy but Mary always cheers you up with her cheerful "Good Morning".
