Beginning later this month, representatives from UNMC and Nebraska Medicine will work together to create shared values for our organizations. The team of 150 colleagues — 75 from each organization — will work from this month through March to identify the shared values.
As part of this process, there are 25 open spots for UNMC volunteers, which will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
The monthly team meetings will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on the following dates: Sept. 28, Oct. 22, Nov. 5, Dec. 16 and Jan. 14. You must be able to attend four out of the five sessions in order to participate. If you would like to join the team, email Merrilou Klug mklug@nebraskamed.com. You will receive a calendar invitation outlining the upcoming sessions and locations.
By March, the team will identify which characteristics colleagues at both Nebraska Medicine and UNMC should possess in order to fulfill our joint mission statement. As part of the process, all colleagues will have an opportunity for feedback, as all staff will be surveyed to provide input.
