Event to celebrate UNMC’s newest college

Assistant professor Stephane VanderMeulen and students from the College of Allied Health Professions.

A campus celebration of UNMC’s newest college – the College of Allied Health Professions – will take place Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Ruth & Bill Scott Student Plaza (between the Joseph D. & Millie E. Williams Science Hall and the Michael F. Sorrell Center for Health Science Education). In the event of inclement weather, the event will be in the Sorrell Center, second floor Commons Area.

Please join us to hear from UNMC leaders and celebrate allied health’s recent transition from a school to a college. Light refreshments will be provided.

Allied health became UNMC’s sixth college on July 1, joining medicine, nursing, dentistry, pharmacy and public health. UNMC also offers graduate studies as part of the university-wide Graduate College.
