Effective today, a section of the south driving lane along Emile Street, directly across from The Lied Transplant Center, will be temporarily closed for utility work connections at the Central Utility Plant.
This closure is in addition to existing lane impacts further west along Emile Street, related to the skywalk construction. Two driving lanes will remain open at all times, and signage will be posted to assist patients, visitors, employees and students.
This utility work is anticipated to be complete by mid-July. The skywalk construction affecting the west portion of Emile Street will continue through the end of 2015.
