Pope, academic affairs program coordinator in the College of Medicine, was one of 260 people — and the longest-serving UNMC employee in attendance — at this year’s Honors Awards Dinner. The annual event recognizes retirees, service award recipients and Gold ‘U’ honorees of the past year.

During the program, Chancellor Jeffrey P. Gold, M.D., thanked employees for the work they do each day to make UNMC a leader in transforming lives. He also thanked their supportive family members who also are part of the UNMC family.
