Colleagues who need to replace their ID badges and do not want to wait for department by department rebadging should visit the ID office on Tuesdays, Thursdays or Fridays from 8 a.m to 4:30 p.m.
The ID office is located at the Student Life Center and limited visitor parking is available.
Walk-in rebadging at the office will be suspended effective July 31 in preparation of new student badging for the fall semester. An announcement will be made in September when walk-in rebadging at the ID Office resumes.
NOTE: Nebraska Medicine staff will no longer be able to rebadge before new employee orientation, which is held on the lower level of Storz Pavillion.
Photo ID staff also are rebadging at locations outside of the UNMC/Nebraska Medicine-Nebraska Medical Center main campus. Locations with regular contact with patients, family and community members will receive priority. A coordinator from each location will be designated and will pass along specific instructions to staff as necessary.
Once the walk-in and off-site rebadging is complete, photo ID staff will reach out department by department to arrange for remaining rebadging. The entire process is expected to continue through the end of 2015.
A couple additional reminders:
- To be reused, photos must have been taken within the last five years.
- The “nickname/known as” must match what is in SAP.
