Editor’s Note: Each month, InterCOM will highlight a “Student of the Month” from the College of Medicine. Students will be featured for their participation in activities outside of medical school and for making a difference in the community. Staying Balanced:
Getting up when the alarm goes off, getting the work done, setting aside at least 1-2 hours/day for rest and relaxation. Call home at least once/week.
List three things people may not know about you:
1. Played more than 1,000 games of cribbage on my phone during study breaks with a 64 percent win percentage on "Advanced" difficulty level.
2. Once swam to the chapel and back on the small island off the shore of Tolo, Greece. Met a Hungarian man named Ferdinand there.
3. Created Falaco Solitons in hometown swimming pool, winning awards at the state science fair in high school. Still couldn't get a girlfriend until I was 17.
