As part of the next phase of strategic planning work, Nebraska Medicine announced today that Carl Smith, M.D., and Lisa McClane will be responsible for leading the Women and Pediatric Services clinical program area.

“We are confident that these leaders will not only uphold our mission to deliver exceptional care to our patients, but also help position our organization for continued success in the future in the ever-changing health care landscape,” said Brad Britigan, M.D., Nebraska Medicine president and dean of the UNMC College of Medicine.

The development process for Nebraska Medicine’s integrated clinical programs and services has been launched in a number of waves including cancer, cardiovascular, acute care, neurological sciences, digestive diseases and kidney and primary care.
