The prize patrol is out.

Last week, there were 11 winners through Thursday who were spotted by human resources staff wearing the stickers that showed they had completed the Employee Engagement Survey.

This week, more gift cards will be given out, so get your surveys completed. The campus is aiming for an 85 percent completion rate.

“The survey is a great opportunity to check where we are and how we are doing,” said Alex Stoll, from the School of Allied Health Professions.

Mary Ann Mertz, Ph.D., interim assistant dean at the College of Nursing’s Kearney campus, filled out the survey right away.

“I believe it is very important to complete,” she said. “I also wanted to be a good example for our faculty and staff here at the College of Nursing Kearney Division.”

The survey is administered through an e-mail from UnmcEngagementSurvey@Kenexa.com, which contains the URL to access your survey. The survey only takes about 15 minutes to complete and will be available through March 20.

Be sure to wear your survey sticker once you complete the survey. The Human Resources Prize Patrol will be giving out gift cards daily to a few employees wearing the sticker! To get your sticker, shown above, contact your department’s Engagement Survey Champion.

All survey results will be maintained under strict confidentiality by a third-party survey organization, Kenexa. Your individual responses will be entirely confidential as Kenexa is committed to the anonymity of this process. All analyses will be reported in summary form only. No individual responses will ever be shared.

You are important to UNMC and your feedback counts, so we strongly encourage you to take the survey. The more participation we have, the better we can understand and address what most influences employee engagement, motivation, performance and UNMC’s overall success.
