The Women’s Choice Award, a leading consumer advocacy group, recognized Nebraska Medicine as one of its 2015 America’s Best Hospitals for Obstetrics. The annual designation is based on criteria including female patient satisfaction, clinical excellence and what thousands of “moms” say they want from a hospital. We were also ranked a hospital of choice for orthopedics and for patient safety.
“Our team has been working exceptionally hard on the metrics that we believe define the best patient quality and experience,” says Lisa McClane, executive director of Women’s and Children’s Services. “This recognition is a gratifying acknowledgement of our substantial success.”
Teresa Berg, M.D., director of Maternal-Fetal Medicine and the Prenatal Diagnostic Center agrees. “This is a truly great honor,” she says. “It speaks to the compassionate care that is given by the entire team on the unit.”
