  Tell us a bit about what you do here at UNMC.
  I am the administrator of the psychiatry department in the College of Medicine since June of this year. Prior to that, I worked 20 years in the surgery department, managing core business operations.

  Excellence is evident to me in the caliber of faculty and staff that are employed here that I am privileged to work with. And recently, from a patient perspective, I witnessed firsthand the caring, attentive, quality care that we strive to provide.

  What is your favorite winter activity?
  
  I enjoy the holiday season and driving through well-decorated neighborhoods to see the lights.

  • I am the third of 13 children.
  • I met my husband in high school.
  • At times, I laugh myself to tears over the smallest thing.
