“Aileen Warren is a consummate human resources professional,” said Don Leuenberger, vice chancellor of business and finance. “We are very excited to have her here at UNMC, and I look forward to working with her.”
Warren earned her undergraduate (1983) and master’s degree (1985) in social work from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Her professional designations include the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification, which demonstrates mastery of the technical and operational aspects of HR practices and U.S. laws and regulations, and a certification in organizational development from the Fielding Graduate University.
Warren serves on the boards of Boys and Girls Club of the Midlands and Catholic Charities of Omaha, and she is a member of the Urban League of Nebraska Guild. She previously served on the board of the Institute for Career Advancement Needs (ICAN) and was a member of the Women’s Center for Advancement (WCA) Omaha Tribute to Women Selection Committee.
Warren replaces John Russell, who served as UNMC’s director of human resources for 14 years.
