“Between the Ribs: What’s New in Thoracic Surgery” is the subject for the next Olson Center Brown Bag, to be held at noon on Nov. 18 in the Eppley Science Hall Amphitheater.
New data is available for implementing lung cancer screening programs, with specific criteria for determining high risk groups. At the discussion, Rudy Lackner, M.D., professor in the UNMC Department of Surgery, will outline the guidelines for lung cancer screening and provide recommendations for managing pulmonary nodules.

The lectures are free. However, to obtain nursing credit, the cost is $10. Payment instructions will be given when you pre-register.
