The Center for Continuing Education will host the 17th annual Update for HIV Care Providers and Educators from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Oct. 15 at the University of Nebraska at Omaha’s Scott Conference Center, 6450 Pine St.

- Ann Fitzgerald on “Truvada or not Truvada? That is the Question”
- Kim Scarsi, Pharm.D., Alex Dworak, M.D., and Bret Bare on “Assisting Refugees and Immigrants with Access to Care and Adherence to Medication”
- Sara Hurtado Bares, M.D., on “Updates in HIV Diagnostics”
- Sheritta Strong, M.D., on “Update on the Management of HIV-Related Psychiatric Diseases”
- Uriel Sandkovsky, M.D., on “Looking for STDs in all the Right Places”
