What sparked your interest in nursing?
When I was three years old, my older sister Jessica was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. Growing up, I helped her administer injections and dedicated myself to helping her maintain her new lifestyle in a healthy manner. I found my love for health care during these years helping my sister with her transition.

Three things people may not know about you:
- I have a pet turkey.
- I want to be a neonatal intensive care unit nurse.
- I am getting married on May 30, 2015, right after graduation.
Emma is such a great asset to the nursing profession!
Emma is a leader in her Class and is also currently President of the CON service learning project, Fostering the Future, focused on young adults aging out of the foster care system.
This girl is going places as I knew she always would. She is a dedicated student, sister, daughter, and in all phases of her life. Congratulations Emma.
