Katherine Jones, Ph.D., associate professor in the School of Allied Health Professions’ physical therapy education division, will discuss “The Role of Implementation Science in Comparative Effectiveness Research (CER)” in a Program of Excellence presentation at 4 p.m. today in the Sorrell Center, Room 1005.
Objectives of the presentation will include:
- Defining implementation science and its component concepts.
- Understanding the rationale for use of implementation science in comparative effectiveness research.
- Describing the tools used in implementation science.
- Exploring the use of implementation science in a current study.
- Discussing how to expand the use of implementation science in CER at UNMC.
