U-wide teaching, research award nominations open

Nominations are now open for the annual university-wide research and teaching awards.

“These awards offer the opportunity to promote university-wide recognition of the fine teachers and researchers here at UNMC,” said Dele Davies, M.D., vice chancellor for academic affairs.

Nominations are being accepted for the 2015 Outstanding Research and Creative Activity Award (ORCA), the Innovation, Development and Engagement Award (IDEA), the Outstanding Teaching and Instructional Creativity Award (OTICA) and the University-wide Departmental Teaching Award (UDTA).

Submit nominations for all awards using the forms found here to either the vice chancellor for academic affairs or the vice chancellor for research as described below.

A review committee will alert the final campus nominees to complete and submit the entire packet for each award.
